Laura Siváková is a Slovak film director, screenwriter, creative producer, and dramaturgist. She graduated in film and television dramaturgy and screenwriting at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. She is experienced in various formats including feature films, TV series, and documentaries. Her portfolio includes the documentary film Dežo Hoffmann - Fotograf Beatles (2023), for which she was awarded the Trilobit 2023 for Best Documentary, as well as Pád (2022) and the successful TV series as Druhá Šanca II. and Sestričky III., IV. Additionally, her 2009 feature film Heaven, Hell... Earth won the Gold Remi Award at WorldFest-Houston and was showcased at international festivals. Her earlier works, such as Quartetto (2002), also received international recognition, winning the Audience Award at the Bratislava International Film Festival and the Bronze Grape at the IFF Lagow.
