Yesterday we won the Best Febio Pitch Award and Pop Up Film Residency Visegrad Award. We would like to thank Febiofest SK for the opportunity to present our upcoming documentary Glorious Utopia. Many thanks to the jury and Pop Up Film Residency for the awards. 

Last night, we had an amazing and sold-out premiere of the film 'The Editorial Office' at the Berlinale festival in the Forum section. We are excited and hopeful for further festival successes for this exceptional film.

Great news! We just premiered our film Her Body at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. We had a great sold-out premiere. We are looking forward to release it to Slovak and Czech cinemas!

Film Her Body pitched at Meeting Point - Vilnius, we had many fruitful meetings, thank you for this opportunity! And thank you Natálie Císařovská for a lovely company.

Greetings from Stockholm! In February, we visited Sweden to shoot a part of our documentary with kings of Elgaland - Vargaland. 

Another Ukrainian coproduction has been supported by Slovak Audiovisual Fund. Feature documentary Company of Steel directed by Yulia Hontaruk brings very current and important story. Read more here.

Our coproduction is flying around the world! Children film How I Learned To Fly has recently won Audience Award at Lucas IFF and will be screened at Thessaloniki IFF, Chicago Children IFF, Cottbus IFF, POFF Talinn Black Nights and many more. 

Development of our new feature film debut Mina directed by Martin Hnat and written by Tereza Dodokova was supported by Audiovisual Fund. 

Our road movie Stand Up will have its premiere on 23rd of June in Slovak cinemas! See you there. ​

We are thrilled to announce that "How I Learned to Fly" has recieved the ECFA - European Children's Film Association - Best European film award at BUFF Malmö Filmfestival!

The sales company Pluto Film has picked up our film Summer Rebels , Slovak/German coproduction for children by Martina Saková. The film had been selected for the main competitions of several world festivals before the coronavirus crisis started. Read more here:

Our movie Summer in Bernard was presented at Zlín Film Festival 2019 by its director Martina Sáková as a part of the works in progress programme section.

We just received wonderful news that we received a Creative Europe MEDIA grant for our upcoming three projects: feature debut MINA by Martin Hnát, documentary GLORIOUS UTOPIA by Marek Moučka and TV series WOLF'S HOLE in co-production with Alice Sigmund Heráková.

Today we had the first shooting day of our upcoming feature film FLOOD by Martin Gonda. Another 32 days are ahead.  Stay tuned!

Last weekend was a different world out there, with heavy raining, low temperature and dark skies. But despite everything we managed to finish shooting of the epilogue scene of our new co-production feature The Editorial Office.

Pitching of our coproduction Company of Steel @European Film Market - EFM Baltic Docs Rough Cut presentation is done. Thanks to everyone who attended and supported our mission and stay tuned!

Our new coproduction film The Editorial Office directed by Roman Bondarchuk was supported by Slovak Audiovisual Fund in special call focused on Ukrainian coproductions. We are currently preparing the shooting of epilogue. 

The shooting of our coproduction film The Body just kicked off in Czech Republic. You will see also Slovak actress Zuzana Maurery and Natalia Germani in the film. Stay tuned!

Great news! Our feature project FLOOD directed by Martin Gonda will be presented at Febiofest Industry Days. All projects will be pitched online on Monday  the 29th of March so don't forget to register to see it. More info here.

It was such a pleasure to pitch our project FLOOD at this year's edition of COCO PITCH even though it was in the online world. We had lots of valuable meetings. Many thanks to the COCO team for organizing such a smooth online pitching forum!

Good news! Our coproduction project How I Learned to Fly, written by Ljubica Lukovic and directed by Radivoje Andric has also been supported by the Council of Europe fund - Eurimages. Thank you!

The shooting of our coproduction project Saving One Who Was Dead directed by Vaclav Kadrnka is finished! We had to put the production on hold after the coronavirus outbreak, having shot one-third of the material.  Luckily the Czech Republic soon enabled film productions to restart, so we returned to the set to film the remaining part and wrapped the shooting on 24th of May.

Slovak producer Katarína Krnácová has been selected for the jury of the 23rd edition of European Film Promotion’s European Shooting Stars 2020. The five-member jury will select the ten up-and-coming European actresses and actors who will be presented at the 2020 Berlinale.

Film Little Harbour is in these days presented at Japanese film festival with personal participation of producer Katarína Krnáčová.

Film LITTLE HARBOUR had its world premiere at IFF Berlinale 2017 where it was awarded with a Crystal Bear for The Best Film in Generation Kplus section.

We are thrilled to announce that the actress of our film 'Her Body,' Natália Germany, has been nominated for the 'Sun in the Net' award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Katarína Krnáčová, CEO and Producer of Silverart, has been elected as the new President of the Slovak Film and Television Academy. ​

Producer Tomáš Gič attended Visegrad Co-Production Forum organised by dok.incubator in Budapest. The program included pitching projects including Glorious Utopia and one-to-one meetings.

Today we had a Slovak distribution premiere of our beloved coproduction How I Learned to Fly. Come to see it in Slovak cinemas! 

We just received a development support from Slovak Audiovisual Fund for our new documentary Glorious Utopia directed by emerging talent Marek Moucka. Looking forward to continue working on Glorious Utopia.

Our project FLOOD was selected for Sources 2 Script Development Workshop. Due to the unpredictable situation caused by coronavirus, the workshop will be held ONLINE  from 29 Sept – 06 Oct 2020. We are convinced that ONLINE scheme will result in a process of high efficiency. The workshop consists of  alternating group sessions and individual sessions with our mentor.

After a year of preparation we’re back now finally shooting the film during the summer in Slovakia and Germany!
